Charges filed against Yitzhar man who was tasered

An indictment and request for remand were filed in Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court against Boaz Albert, 40, of Yitzhar, for breach of a legal court order prohibiting him from entering the settlement. Last month, Albert was shocked by an officer with a Taser gun as police attempted to arrest him.
According to the indictment, Albert shackled himself to the floor of his home and as he was arrested, residents of Yitzhar attacked the police, throwing stones, eggs and bags of urine and feces. They also smashed the windows of police vehicles and punctured tires. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
