Rohani: Region must be WMD-free, including 'regime with dangerous arsenal'

In a New York press conference Iran's President Hassan Rohani referred to the use of chemical weapons in Syria, and said that Iran opposes foreign involvement in the region, but also condemns any use of chemical arms.
Rohani added that cleaning the Middle East of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) should include a "regime which has a very dangerous arsenal of WMDs, which should join the treaty against their proliferation." (Yitzhak Benhorin)
