Rohani lands in Tehran; Islamists chant 'death to America'
Several hundred people gathered at Tehran's international airport to greet President Hassan Rohani upon his return from the UN General Assembly in New York. Some 60 Islamists who demonstrated against Rohani called "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."
Om Friday, Rohani held a historic phone conversation with US President Barack Obama – the first direct contact between the leaders of the two nations since the Islamist Revolution in 1979. (AFP)
