2 soldiers accused of abusing Palestinian detainee

The Military Advocate General's Office has filed an indictment against two Golani soldiers accused of aggravated assault of a Palestinian detainee. The two are suspected of beating the handcuffed and blinded Palestinian in a Gaza-envelope-area military base.
According to the indictment, the two were suppose to guard the man – who had been arrested a day before the incident – but allegedly beat him. The man was wanted for entering Israel illegally last May. (Yoav Zitun)
