None

France was set to launch an aerial attack in Syria in response to the chemical attack in a Damascus suburb, the British newspaper The Independent reported.

According to the report, French President Francois Hollande received a phone call from US President Barack Obama on August 31, a number of hours before the the former was suppose to authorize the attack. In the phone call, Obama informed Hollande that the US' decision to strike Syria would be passed on to congress and as a result France postponed its attack. (Ynet)
