"The occupation is a sin. You cannot be a Jew and conquer," said Knesset Member Ruth Calderon of the Yesh Atid party at J Street's annual conference in Washington.
"I am in favor of two states for two peoples because Israel must be a nation state in which Hebrew is spoken, Jewish education is taught in schools and the official symbols are Jewish," she said. "Therefore, we must remain a majority, and this can only happen with a two-state solution." (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
