Kerry: US in no hurry to lift Iran sanctions

The United States is not in a hurry to lift the crippling economic sanctions on Iran but such a scenario is possible once an agreement assures that Iran's nuclear program would not be used for military purposes, Secretary of State John Kerry said.

In an interview with CBS' 60 Minutes, Kerry said that the US will not lift sanctions until it is fully aware of what Iran is doing in its program. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
