The Knesset's Constitution and Law and Justice Committee discussed the governance bill on Tuesday ahead of second and third readings. Members of the opposition protested the discussion on the bill during the Knesset's recess.
MK Dov Khenin (Hadash) said the bill was dangerously anti-democratic. Uri Maklev (United Torah Judaism) said, "This isn’t governance, it's tyranny. The voices of tens of thousands will not be heard because parties will not pass the election threshold." (Moran Azulay)
