Ex-President Katsav request prison level for grandson's bar mitzvah
Ex-President Moshe Katsav – who was sentenced to seven years in prison for sexual offences – has requested the Israeli Prison Service grant him an additional leave on Tuesday so he can attend his grandson's bar mitzvah. Katsav took his first prison leave last month and was expected to receive another on next month.
The IPS said a decision has yet to be made. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
