Former IDF intel chief: Give deal with Iran a chance
Former Military Intelligence Chief Maj. Gen. (res.) Amos Yadlin published an op-ed through a think tank which he runs and said that "we should give a good deal between Iran and the west a chance even if we believe that the Iranian move stems from deceit."
According to him, "negotiations between the US and the Iran can develop in three directions, two of which can be positive for Israel – a good deal which would distance Iran from a bomb or a massive failure which would grant legitimacy to alternative routes of actions to stop their (nuclear) plan."
