Katsav to be allowed short furlough for grandson's bar-mitzvah

The Israel Prison Service has granted former president Moshe Katsav's request to attend his grandson's bar-mitzvah. Katsav, who is serving a seven-year rape sentence, originally asked for a 24-hour furlough, but the IPS will allow him to remain out of prison for only six hours. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
