Iran: 'Spy' arrest designed to remove Israel from isolation
Iran claims the suspicions raised by the Shin Bet against a Belgian citizen of Iranian descent, who was arrested on suspicion of spying for the Revolutionary Guards, are "repeated scenario" designed to help restore the image of Israel.
"Many Western commentators said that the man's arrest during Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit to the US was meant to rescue the Zionists from their isolation," said a spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry. (AFP)
