US nuclear expert says Rohani lied, Iran en route to bomb
A US nuclear expert, David Albright, told the Senate's Foreign Relations Committee that Iran's President Hassan Rohani was lying when he said his country is not trying to produce an atomic bomb.
The Iranian nuclear program is progressing and there are no signs of it stopping since Rohani assumed office, Albright said. He added that the Iranians are stockpiling large amounts of enriched uranium, and have also doubled the number of centrifuges in Natanz and Fordo. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
