Israel: European decision against circumcision fuels racism
The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a statement harshly condemning the decision of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Thursday which stated that circumcision of any kind of men or women is a violation of human rights.
"The decision against circumcision is an intolerable attack on the respected, ancient religious tradition. Decision imposes a heavy moral stain on the whole Council, fanning flames of hatred and racism in Europe. We call for its cancelation without delay," the statement said. (Attila Shmolfavi)
