Friends of 2 killed by train: They didn’t cross tracks in time
Friends of the two youth killed early Friday morning in the train accident near the industrial area of Emek Hefer commented on the incident saying, “We wanted to cross the tracks. Me and a friend made it across, and they were hit by a train.”
The Traffic Division of the police continue to investigate the incident and are checking into all possibilities, including that the youth were drinking. It is also possible that they were clowning around or that they were not paying attention. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
