Grave vandalized of IDF vet whose mother’s running for office
Vandals defaced the grave of fallen IDF veteran Oren Rotem at the military cemetery in Kokhav Yair. His mother, Ophira Rotem, discovered the vandalism when she visited the grave and filed a complaint with the Tayibe Police, who opened an investigation.
Police will check to see if there is a connection between corruption and Rotem's candidcacy on the list of Kokhav Yair council head Yaakov Maman, in the upcoming local elections. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
