Petach Tikva: Charges against 2 drivers for death by negligence
An indictment was submitted to the Petah Tikva Traffic Court against a truck driver and a driver in a car, for causing death by negligence of Mohammed Halabi in June.
The indictment alleges that the truck driver, Amir Rameila, tried to merge with traffic after stopping at the side of the road on Route 1. the driver of the private vehicle, Anas Gaber, suddenly appeared and hit the side of the truck. As a result, Halabi was killed as he sat in the private vehicle. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
