Health Minister Yael German decided to accept recommendations of the Polio committees and return to use of a weakened live polio vaccine.
The ministry also decided to give an extra dose of the live vaccine in the areas where polio is still significant, such as Hura, Kasafia, Arara, Tel Sheva and others. (Yaron Kelner)
