Prof. Dan Gilon, the cardiologist treating Rabbi Ovadia Yosef at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, said: "The risk to the rabbi's life is real, clearer and extreme."
According to him, "the risk is closer now that it was before – including in the most difficult moments in the past two weeks. The last few hours have been dynamic for the worse and in the next 24 hours we will know if the life risk is immediate." (Kobi Nachshoni)
