District Court acquits Sudanese citizen suspected of 'prom rape'

The Jerusalem District Court acquitted Mohammed Fadoul, a Sudanese citizen, who was accused of raping a high school senior during her graduation party in Jerusalem last year. The judges claimed there was no sufficient evidence to prove Fadoul committed any offense.
The prosecution omitted the count of rape six months ago. Fadoul has been under arrest for a year and a half. (Aviel Magnezi)
