IDF: Navy fires at fishing boat deviated from permitted Gaza zone

The IDF responded to an earlier Palestinian report regarding Israeli battleships firing towards the Gaza Strip coastline early Wednesday morning.
"Due to a deviation of a Palestinian fishing boat beyond the permitted zone in front of Gaza short, a Navy ship fired warning shots in to the air. Due to the fire, the Palestinian boat returned to the permitted sailing area," the IDF stated. (Yoav Zitun)
