308,335 students enrolled for new academic year

The Council for Higher Education released data according to which 308,335 students will attend the new academic year, starting next week.

According to the data, 236,000 students enrolled for a BA degree and 59,000 for an MA. Additionally, the council's finance committee authorized the academic budget for the next year, which will stand at NIS 8.9 billion ($2.5 billion). (Shahar Chai)
