An El Al Boeing 767 airplane is heading from Ben Gurion airport to Asmara, Eritrea's capital, to retrieve passengers who landed there on an El Al flight from Bangkok to Israel due to a malfunction.
Israel's ambassador to the country, Eli Antebi, said earlier that all the passengers are in the terminal, and the embassy is attempting to let them stay at a hotel until the airplane's arrival. (Shahar Chai)
