HPV vaccination to remain part of healthcare for schools

The Health Ministry decided to keep the vaccination for the papilloma virus (HPV) as part of the healthcare services funded by the State. Recently, debates have been held regarding the vaccination after some doctors opposed its inclusion in State-funded healthcare.

However, it was decided to continue as planned and give eighth-year female schoolchildren the vaccination, meant to prevent cervical cancer. (Yaron Kelner)
