Weizmann Institute: Prof. Levitt had tenure

Responding to claims by Nobel laureate Michael Levitt, Weizmann Institute issued a statement saying that "Professor Levitt was the head of the Department of Chemical Physics at the Weizmann Institute. He was a member professor and had tenure and until today was considered a guest professor.
Following the announcement of Levitt's win of the Nobel Prize in chemistry, he said he preferred to continue his breakthrough research abroad "Because I didn't get tenured there (in Israel)." (Shahar Chai)
