Sentencing of Elon set for December 18

The sentencing of Rabbi Moti Elon, who was found guilty of sexualy assaulting two minors, will be held on December 18. Earlier during arguments, the prosecutor requested that Elon serve at least one year of a prison sentence.

Elon's attorney, Asher Ohayon, asked the court that the sentence be community service alone. Elon refused to comment on the trial, saying, "I want this to be behind us already." (Aviel Magnazi)
