Following the incident, the brigade ceased activity, and technical teams are looking into the tank systems.
In response, the IDF's Spokesperson's Unit states: "In the afternoon, the Windbreaker system was set off at the northern Gaza Strip. It was a false operation. No one was injured and no damage was reported. The incident is under investigation."
Earlier Thursday, a tank accident at an IDF training base in the south left two soldiers mildly injured. Damage was caused to the tank, and the circumstances of the event are under investigation.
