A former senior IDF officer was bludgeoned to death in the Jordan Valley overnight. His wife told security forces that she and her husband were attacked by two Palestinians with metal rods and axes at around 1 am in a community located near Moshav Shadmot Mehola. (Itamar Fleishman)
