Monique Omer, wife of murder victim Colonel (res.) Sariya (Yaya) Ofer who was murdered Thursday night outside his home in the Jordan Valley community of Brosh, said, “Is there anyone who doesn’t know Yaya Ofer? He was a military man for many years and a commander in Gaza. An amazing man, amazing husband. There is no one who did not love him or connect with him. How they managed to do this to him, I do not know. They surprised him.”
Omer was lightly injured during the incident and taken to Emek Medical Center in Afula. (Maor Buchnik)
