The Population and Immigration Authority denied entry Friday to 26 passengers who arrived in Israel from Georgia, who came with a group visa under the guise of tourists. They arrived on a flight from the capital city of Tbilisi.
Border crossing employees recognized that the passengers were traveling under different identities than they were from a prior trip to Israel, in which they stayed in Israel illegally. The group is waiting for a flight back. (Omri Efraim)
