UN: Rebels in east Congo fire on UN helicopter

A UN official said a helicopter with the UN peacekeeping mission in eastern Congo came under rebel attack.
Mary Robinson, the UN special envoy for the Great Lakes region, said Saturday the helicopter came under direct fire Friday from positions held by the M23 rebels in the Rumangabo region. She condemned the attack. (AP)
