Gaza holds 3rd annual bodybuilding competition
Hamas, Palestinian sports association holding bodybuilding championship for third year; photos from Gaza
The annual Bodybuilding competition took place Saturday in the Gaza Strip. The competition was endorsed by the Hamas government's sports department and was organized by a Palestinian sports association.
The first Bodybuilding championship in Gaza was held in 2010 and since then 20-30 nominees try to win the competition each year.

Bodybuilding has gained popularity in the Gaza Strip, but facilities are usually old and ill-equipped.
Gaza bodybuilders are also short on protein powders, which are integral to the sport, a shortage sometimes compensated via smuggling supplies through tunnels from Egypt.
