Sinai report: Gunmen attack security forces

The Palestinian news agency Maan reported that gunmen attacked a bus which drove Egyptian police officers in the city of Sheikh Zawid in the northern Sinai Peninsula. Several casualties were reported.
In a seperate incident, the al-Youm a-Saba newspaper reported that eyewitnesses said gunmen attacked several army vehicles on the road between al-Arish and Rafah in Sinai, and that several were wounded. (Roi Kais)
