Sariya Ofer laid to rest, injured wife carried to grave on stretcher

Hundreds of people came to pay their final respects to Colonel (res.) Sariya Ofer, who was murdered in the Jordan Valley outside his home early Friday morning.

The funeral was held at at the cemetery of Kfar Vitkin in the Sharon. Monique Omer, Ofer's wife who was injured during the attack, arrived in an ambulance and was brought to her husband's graveside on a stretcher. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
