Haifa hospital official arrested in connection to abuse scandal

The police have arrested a senior official from the private Elisha hospital in Haifa which has been in the center of scandal since it was revealed that one of its female patients was allegedly beaten by one of the caretakers.
The official, a 62-year-old from Nahariya, is suspected of involvement in the incident and the police will bring the man before a Haifa Magistrate Court judge for extension of remand. (Ahiya Raved)
