Car bomb in northern Syria kills at least 12

None

Syrian activist groups say a car bombing in a rebel-held northwestern town has killed at least 12 people. Two groups say the bombing took place on Monday at a market in the town of Darkoush in Idlib. The groups, which rely on a network of activists on the ground, differ on the number of those killed. That is often the case in the aftermath of big bombings.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says 20 people died while the Local Coordination Committees says at least 12 were killed. (AP)
