UK police arrest man with knife outside palace

Police have arrested a man with a knife who tried to enter Buckingham Palace in London. The Metropolitan Police said the 44-year-old man was apprehended just before noon on Monday as he tried to enter through a palace gate.
Police said they found a knife when they searched the man and arrested him on suspicion of trespassing on a protected site and possession of an offensive weapon. (AP)
