Beersheba Mayor to Teva CEO: Don't lay off Negev workers

Beersheba Mayor Ruvik Danilovich sent a letter to Teva CEO Jeremy Levin in which he commented on the dismissal of 800 employees in the company. "I appeal to you personally, as president and CEO of an Israeli company flying the flag of excellence, and ask that you not to lay off workers in the Negev factory."
Danilovich added, "This decision would seriously harm many young people, who built their homes here." (Billie Frenkel)
