Registrar at courthouse suspected of sexual harassment

Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court cleared for partial publication a case in which a registrar at a courthouse in the center of the country is suspected of sexual harassment of his subordinate. A police investigation was initiated against the registrar, conducted by Israeli Police’s National Fraud Unit.
The registrar was suspended in July 2011 and in April 2013 he retired. After the investigation, the Prosecutor's Office decided to close the case, in part because the position of the complainant who did not wish to conduct criminal proceedings, and due to the termination of the registrar.
