Dalia Rabin, daughter of murdered Prime Minister Yizhak Rabin, said in the memorial marking 18 years to his death that "This is not just another memorial service for a hero who has died. This is a thundering day of reminder for our bleeding society. The three shots split not only his back, but the very venture to our democracy."
Rabin added that the Oslo Accord never sacrificed citizens' security; "Did anyone find a replacement for it? I think it's that process is a breakthrough to this day," she said. (Noam Dvir)
