Report: Syrian general killed by regime

Lebanese newspaper Al-Mustaqbal quoted Syrian opposition elements as claiming that Syrian military intelligence official, General Jama'a Jama'a, who was killed in Deir Azour on Thursday, was shot to death by regime intelligence agents.
The report said that Jama'a was questioned about his involvement in the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and is on America's terrorism blacklist. However, Syrian papers claim the rebels are responsible for his death. (Roi Kais)
