Highway 1 closed to traffic following accident

Highway 1 was shut down to traffic between the Shoresh and Shar Hagai intersections, following a car accident. Magen David Adom reported that the accident involved 20 vehicles including an Egged bus, and six people were lightly injured.  

Due to the blocking of the road, there is a heavy traffic jam and drivers are requested to take alternate routes. (Raanan Ben-Zur, Noam Dvir)
