M. Hebron Palestinian eviction to go to arbitration

The State has informed the High Court that Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon has agreed to the court's recommendation to take the issue of Fire Practice Area 918 to arbitration.
The petition pertains to the eviction of Palestinians living in an area in Mount Hebron called Fire Practice Area 918 which was tuned into a restricted army area in 1980. The State claims the Palestinians moved there only after 1980 while the Palestinians claim they have dwelt on the land for many years prior to the rezoning. (Aviel Magnezi)
