Elections: Peres votes at Highschool for Arts in J'lem

Israeli President Shimon Peres cast his vote in the local elections at the Jerusalem Highschool for the Arts. Peres said, "The municipality serves an important position in the daily life of the citizen, no less than the government."

He called on citizens to go vote. "The elections are important throughout the country. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that votes with cards and not with bombs. The democratic process brings forth pride." (Noam Dvir)
