Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar informed that as of 11 am on Tuesday, only 4% voted in Jerusalem. Sa'ar mentioned that in Tel Aviv only 6% of the voters placed their votes up until that time of day.
The statistics show that the current national voting turnout is at 9%. This is a decrease of about one percent compared the same time in the previous elections five years ago. Minister Sa'ar further added that particularly high voter turnout was accounted in the non-Jewish sector. (Omri Efraim)
