Detention extended for 7 in use of other people's ID cards

The JErusalem MAgiustrate's Court has extended the detention of 7 Beit Shemesh residents suspected of using ID cards that belonged to people currently out of the country in order to register to vote in the local elections. Another suspect was released Tuesday.

Tuesday night 200 ID cards were found in two apartments in the city, and police began investigating whether illegal use was made of them. (Noam Dvir)
