Interior Ministry: 50.9% voter turnout in local elections

The percentage of voter turnout in the local elections held nationwide in Israel Tuesday is 50.9% of eligible voters, the Interior Ministry said.
The percentage does not include absentee ballots belonging to soldiers and those with physical handicaps who vote in special voting stations. The final tally is expected to put the number slightly above 51%. (Omri Ephraim)
