Peres: Don't underestimate Iranian people – Iran spring possible

President Shimon Peres commented on the Iranian issue in a conference hosted by the Jerusalem Post and said: "Iran suffers poverty, hunger and serious unemployment. Don't underestimate the power of the people in Iran; An Iranian spring is definitely possible."
Peres added: "Khamenei says that religion forbids nuclear arms for military use. If so, why do they develop long-range missiles with nuclear warheads? These missiles have military aim alone." (Noam Dvir)
