Syria: At least 20 killed in car bomb explosion near Damascus

According to a Syrian human rights group, at least 20 people were killed, including three children, and dozens were injured in an explosion of a car bomb near a mosque in a town north-west of Damascus, which is controlled by the rebels.
Earlier Friday it was reported by the Syrian news agency SANA that the Syrian army attacked a stronghold of the rebels near Damascus and killed at least 40 people. (AFP)
