Palestinian PM: Settlers defaced 4,000 olive trees in past year
Palestinian PM, Rami Hamdallah, announced that his government will set up a committee to compensate Palestinian farmers who have had their fields damaged by settlers.
During a speech Hamdallah gave in a festival to celebrate olive picking season he said that settlers defaced 4,000 olive trees this past year. He said the Palestinian authority will plant 750,000 olive trees in the West Bank. (Elior Levy)
